We are proud of our supportive, collaborative workplace and are excited to welcome a new Risk Control Advisor II or Senior Risk Control Advisor (depending on experience and education) to our Risk Management Department.
This position was added to our team earlier this year to support our members’ growing needs. The Advisor will be responsible for serving members in the Central Valley of California (Fresno, Tulare, Kings, Madera, and Merced counties). For this reason, it is strongly preferred that the candidate reside in or near these counties.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct on-site risk management inspections to assess safety, loss prevention, and risk control conditions
Identify significant loss areas and advise members on corrective actions
Deliver engaging training on operational topics and workplace safety issues
Build relationships and provide practical, ongoing guidance to member agencies
Travel frequently (up to 50% or more) within the assigned territory, with some overnight stays required
